Welcome to the Eagle’s Wings Ministries blog.

Our blog is an opportunity to create a community of first-responders throughout the church and elsewhere who believe that it’s up to us to design a zero-tolerance world when it comes to domestic violence.

The church has not been the peaceful warrior that it should be when it comes to defending abused persons and their children.  We have the opportunity to change this. Let this be a site where we come together with knowledge, prayers, and the sharing of things that have worked in our communities. Everywhere, we’re seeing signs that people are waking up and beginning to understand that when there is violence in the home, or the threat of it, the  family unit is in danger. Our purpose is to provide domestic violence support for the abused person and abusers who are ready to seek help.

Pastors, lay teams, counselors, officers of the law, healthcare professionals, attorneys, emergency and domestic abuse shelter teams, victims, families and supporters of victims – your voices are all needed here.

Please come and join us regularly and contribute your ideas to this networking team. Provide domestic violence help to those in need.
